The War in Afghanistan began on October 7, 2001. PeaceSymbol.org was launched a couple weeks later to provide peace related public domain SVG clip art in to line art so that people can use these for protest posters, stickers, mugs, t-shirts, etc. Since then PeaceSymbol.org has also become a gallery of Peace symbol, peace sign and CND logo art.
